We sail from Atlantic Challenge Foundation, 643 Main St. (Rt. 1), Rockland, Maine.
This location provides Jenny Norman and her guests with a very nice new dock (also
home to some other interesting wooden vessels), a more accessible location with ample
parking, an opportunity for touring Atlantic Challenge's boat shop, access to their
maritime reference library and a setting that fits with our philosophies on traditional
boatbuilding and sailing.

From the North: On Route 1 in Rockland, you will pass the big box store neighborhood in the north end of
town. Finally once you pass McDonalds and the Route 17 intersection, you are very close. You will come to
the local bagel shop and food coop (The Good Tern) on your right followed by a Mobil Station. The driveway to
our dock is across from the Mobil and does have a small sign post with our sign as well as one for Atlantic
Challenge. There is plenty of parking in the dirt parking lot just beyond the dock.
From the South: On Route 1, head north through Rockland's original downtown (great shopping, galleries &
food). Notice the ferry terminal on your right followed by Dunkin' Donuts on your left. You will then see the
boatbuilding shop and offices for Atlantic Challenge and their large sign on their wooden boardwalk on your
right. Keep driving a few hundred feet more and you will find another signpost with our sign marking a paved
driveway on your right, directly across from the Mobil Station. It is a bit of a blind corner, so be cautious. There
is plenty of parking in the dirt parking lot just beyond the dock.
