Maine is the northernmost state located in the USA. It was first the part of Massachusetts until and unless the residents broke off and created their own state in wilderness very close to the Canada border. Maine is situated near Penobscot River within the central part of the state and the city of Bangor is sometimes called the Queen City.

  • Bangor Farmers Market

 

The Bangor Farmers Market is an open-air gathering where merchants arrive every Sunday in the month of May till November. Local growers as well as farmers proffer fresh vegetables and fruits for sale at the public. Along with this, there is availability of breads; Cheeses, coffee, baked goods, and a variety of meats are also available.

  • Cole Land Transportation Museum

This place is located in the University of Maine Campus. It is the cultural place for locals as well as visitors. This center of education comprises of 1435-seat Hutchins Concert Hall, the Bodwell Lounge Area and the Minsky Recital Hall. This Centre of Arts provides a huge variety of events such as shows, concerts, lectures, and lastly films.
